Leftover Turkey Delight

Vera’s having a few problems with our blogging software but didn’t want people panicking over what to do with all that extra turkey.
Here’s her first tidbit.
I am back from vacation and ready with more recipes for readers. I spent
Thanksgiving with my brother in Spokane and it was great, especially since
he prepared most of the holiday dinner.
I did get a burst of energy and made Saturday¹s dinner, using our mother¹s
recipe for creamed turkey.
This is one of my family¹s favorites. It is always served over hot biscuits
along with green peas and cranberry sauce.
Mother¹s Creamed Turkey
€ Melt 1Ž4 cup butter in skillet
€ Stir 2 tablespoon flour in butter over low heat
€ Add diced turkey
€ In a small bowl, combine one can cream of chicken soup and soup can of
milk (or more), stirring until smooth
€ Add soup mixture to skillet
€ Add one small finely chopped green pepper
€ Season to taste with salt, pepper and dash of sage
Simmer, stirring frequently.
