Cougars upset UCLA

It has to be maddening for coach Tony Bennett to see his team play so great on Saturday against UCLA after playing back-to-back less than stellar games against USC and Oregon State.
WSU played its best offense of the season and showed true heart and grit in its 82-81 win in Los Angeles.
I can only imagine that Bennett has to be asking himself why can’t this team bring that kind of intensity and consistency every night.
If they had, the Cougars certainly wouldn’t be fighting to stay above .500. Too little, too late.
