Shoes on eBay?

Continuing with the saving on your wedding theme… It’s time for the all-important shoes.

Now, I say “all-important” because I know shoes are crazy important to the wedding ensemble for most women.

But first, I have a confession to make — Shoes are not my area. I wore sneakers to my wedding. New Adidas, blue and silver. No shame about that. I walk like Godzilla in heels and I wanted to be comfortable on my wedding day.

However, since $40 running shoes probably aren’t on most brides’ lists, I figure I should suggest some ways to buy pretty, girlie, strappy things for a good price.

A co-worker of mine once suggested a great idea — buy expensive shoes on eBay. With a little patience you can find amazing deals.

Example: Pop culture tells me that Manolo Blahniks are pretty fancy shoes. Here’s a pair on eBay for a whopping $50, and they look to be in fine shape.

Unfortunately, eBay is about the only place I know to save on fancy shoes. But there has to be more! Time for your suggestions, readers!

I recently ran across this site where it allows you to look for typos on eBay. I used it to buy my playstation 3 (some guy had misspelled it as plaTstation 3 hehe) sso i got really lucky.

I reckon it should work prety well for shoes too…give it a go and let us know of any funny typos LOL
