Have a happy, cheap Halloween!
By Tara Roberts on Wed, Oct 28, 2009
Saturday is Baby Henry’s first Halloween.
Between UI Homecoming events (go Vandals!), we’ll be wrapping him up in a Yoda costume and begging for treats. No, he will not eat them. Yes, I will.
We’re lucky here on the Palouse to have an abundance of free or cheap Halloween events for people of all ages.
The Roberts family plans to hit the downtown Moscow trick or treat on Friday. I have friends who are excited for the events at Eastside Marketplace on Friday and the Palouse Mall and Theophilus Tower on Saturday. Pullman offers fun for the little bitty kids (ages 2-6) with the Boogie Woogie Bash on Saturday.
I’m NOT a fan of haunted houses, but if you are, the area offers great options. The Harvest haunted barn and trail in Moscow offers up scares for a $5 donation, as does the Nightmare at Moose Manor in Pullman. Fifteen bucks will get you into two haunted houses in Palouse.
And there’s so much more! Check out the calendar of events at DNews.com for more ideas.
