Spokane men face felony charges stemming from alleged thefts in Pullman
June 22, 2009, 12:05 pm
Cmdr. Chris Tennant said police believe Mikhail S. Yermola and Yan G. Yefremov, both 24 of Spokane, stole thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment from a utility trailer on Northwest Barclay Ridge.
The men were arrested June 13 by Washington State University police on U.S. Highway 195 for allegedly trying to steal a vehicle on campus.
Tennant said Pullman police assisted in the arrest. They then executed a search warrant on Yermola and Yefremov’s vehicle June 15 and allegedly recovered the tools from the trailer.
Tennant said numerous other tools also were found and are believed to have been stolen from other sites around Pullman.
Police urge anyone who may have recently had tools or equipment stolen to contact Officer Matt Burkett at (509) 334-0802.
