UPDATE: One person dead in morning fire

Moscow Police confirmed today that a woman died in the lower unit of a duplex that was reported to be on fire shortly before 8 a.m.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
Moscow Fire crews arrived on scene about 8 a.m. and flames were visible coming from a lower window in the duplex.
The fire was extinguished within an hour and crews have been on the scene watching for flare ups.
Police say the upper unit in the duplex was not occupied.
The state fire marshall in en route from Coeur d'Alene and should be on scene later this morning.
