UPDATE 1:45 p.m.: Delling to plead guilty to second-degree murder for Boss' death

Delling will enter his plea to the amended Latah County charge in Ada County, according to the agreement. He also will be sentenced in Ada County, where he already has pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge for the 2007 shooting death of Boise State University student Bradley Morse.
Boss faces life in prison for both charges, Thompson said. He will be sentenced for both charges at the same time, and will serve the sentences concurrently.
"It's been in the works for several months and the paperwork finally came through," Thompson said of the plea agreement. "What we've agreed to is to transfer the case to Ada County, where he is being held. (Delling) has agreed through his attorney to plead guilty for second-degree murder ... and we've agreed that he will be sentenced for both crimes at the same time."
Boss was shot and killed March 31, 2007, in his Moscow apartment. Morse was killed April 2 in Boise.
Delling also has been linked to the March 20 shooting of 23-year-old Jacob Thompson, who is recovering from three bullet wounds, including one to the head. Thompson was shot in Tucson, Ariz.
Thompson said there has been no agreement on a sentence.
"The state and defense will argue for what each believes is most appropriate," he said.

Seems that either we are so vindictive that we will try and sentence someone who is already dead - or that the Daily news could benefit from some better editing.
