UPDATE: ELECTION 2009: Chaney edges slightly ahead in Moscow mayoral race

Incumbent Chaney has 1,668 votes, or 52 percent, while challenger John Weber, currently a member of the Moscow City Council, received 1,566 votes, or 48 percent.
