UPDATE: ELECTION 2009: Kendrick incumbents win

Mayor Dale Lisher retained his seat against challenger Mike Curley. Lisher received 88 votes, while Curley received 49.
Andy Tweit and Mike Morgan retained their four-year council seats with 106 and 81 votes, respectively. Challenger Carol Haynes receved 55 votes.
Incumbent Donna Corkill kept her two-year council seat, with 95 votes to challenger Christina White-Kochsmeier’s 42 votes.
A total of 138 people voted in Kendrick.

Longtime Genesee City Council member Steve Odenborg has defeated 22-year-old Lewis-Clark State College Student Body President Clay Long in the race for Genesee mayor.
Odenborg received 220 votes — twice as many as Long, who received 110.
In Troy, Steve Corr and Mike Yenney won the two contested City Council seats.
Incumbent Yenney recevied the most votes, 89. Newcomer Corr took 71 votes. Incumbent Robert Wilson was unseated, receiving 59 votes. Newcomer Kevin Pearson received the fewest votes, 44.
The Troy City Council will canvass election results at a special meeting Wednesday.
