Albion man arrested with 10 pounds of marijuana, $32,500 in cash
December 1, 2009, 12:29 pm
The arrest came after a monthlong investigation by Quad Cities Drug Task Force detectives. In a press release, Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers said agencies such as the task force help keep drugs and criminals off the street.
“This investigation demonstrates just how important it is that as a region we work cooperatively to combat the drug trade,” Myers said. “In times of tight budgets and limited revenues, public safety funding must be a priority of city councils and county commissioners around the region.”
Richter was booked into Whitman County Jail and faces charges of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
