Strunk found dead in Shoshone County

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office notified the Latah County Sheriff's Office of the discovery Saturday.
Strunk's body was located by hunters and was identified by the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office through documents sent by the Latah County Sheriff's Office and items found at the scene, according to a Latah County Sheriff's Office news release.
Investigators from the Latah County Sheriff's Office and an Idaho Department of Correction employee have since examined the body and confirmed that it was Strunk, according to the release.
Strunk's death is being investigated by the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office.
Strunk had been sought since July 8 in connection to a suspicious fire in which his mother, Linda Strunk, was killed.
Latah County investigators will continue the investigation into the fatal fire that killed Strunk's mother on Quartz Creek Road.
