An Idaho man was killed in an industrial accident at the Port of Whitman County Tuesday morning.

Steven H. Woods, 46, of Culdesac, was helping to unload a 46,000-pound section of a crane from a trailer at about 10:15 a.m. when the lifting straps broke and the heavy crane fell, according to a Whitman County Sheriff’s Office release.
