3rd Annual HOLIDAY GALA at the Dahmen Barn

Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is holding its 3rd annual Holiday Gala. 20 visiting artists join the 19 resident artisans this day, each with unique one-of-a-kind gift items for men, women and children. The Shop also represents more than 100 regional artists and craftspeople where a multitude of gifts are available. There is no daily entry fee at the Dahmen Barn and all three levels are now handicap accessible. Visitors may watch resident artisans at work in their studios and purchase directly from them.

At the gala, two authors will be on hand to sign their recently published books: Carol Simon Smolinski, “Hells Canyon and the Middle Snake River”; photographer Alison Meyer, “Palouse Perspective”.

Sample some recipes from the “Artisans’ Cookbook, a palette of favorite recipes” at the gala. The book, a fund raiser for the Dahmen Barn, will be hot off the press and available for sale. The 300+ recipes were submitted by resident artisans, friends of the barn, and members of he board of directors. A regional section features recipes with ingredients of locally grown crops and German favorites.
