Reader Photo

Since October 2004, the Moscow-Pullman Daily News has published a daily photograph taken and submitted by a reader. The number and variety of the submissions have been impressive. The photos appear each day on Page 2 of the print edition and on the Web site, www.DNews.com.

We welcome any and all submissions, which give readers a snapshot of the people and places that define the Palouse.

Submitting a photo is easy, but there's a small legal hurdle to clear first. Please read the agreement below. The agreement verifies that you took the photo and that we have the right to run it in the print edition of the newspaper and on DNews.com.

If you agree to the terms, click "I Agree." You will be taken to a new screen where you will fill out required fields, browse your hard drive for your photo, then submit. Legal Stuff

I assign to Moscow-Pullman Daily News the right to publish, distribute, reproduce, or display the photographs or artwork in print, online, or in any other form of conveyance. Further, I assign to Moscow-Pullman Daily News the right to use, convey, transfer or distribute the photographs or artwork to third parties for reproduction or display, in any form, including but not limited to the Internet, or by any electronic, mechanical, or other means including but not limited to the use of information storage and retrieval systems.

Original work: I warrant that all photographs or artwork are my original work and that said works will not infringe on the copyrights or other property interest of any person. I further warrant that the images are a true, unaltered representation of the people and/or events that I photographed.

Ownership: I shall maintain ownership of the photograph or artwork and can sell or transfer to others of my choosing, subject only to the continued rights of Moscow-Pullman Daily News.
