    Have we learned nothing from the BP oil spill? Their contingency plans were woefully inadequate. There is *no* contingency plan for any accident for the oversize loads, according to ITD. What if the equipment or truck slips into the river? The river is extremely close to the road in some areas. Ten hours for a crane to get there? Could a crane even get the equipment out of the river? How much of a dam would the equipment make, and how damaged would the road get from the rising or diverted water?

    They must be prepared to quickly resolve any problems that could occur.
