Rabies ordinance

What do you think of the proposed ordinance that would require cats, dogs and ferrets in Moscow to be vaccinated for rabies?

    Any responsible pet owner should vaccinate his/her pet. I don't think it is a bad ordinance, but could be difficult to enforce since cats are hidden most of the day and people keep ferrets inside.

    If these unvaccinated animals were to bite anyone, the resulting rabies treatment is very traumatic for the victim, especially for a child. The bottom line: vaccinate!
