Biden’s decline and the early presidential debate

Three recent events have shown a troubling decline in President Biden’s cognitive abilities.

l During the G7 Summit in Italy, as other world leaders gathered for a photograph, President Biden strangely wandered away. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to guide him back to the group.

l At a Los Angeles fundraiser, Biden froze on stage, and Obama had to shuffle him off.

l A video from a Juneteenth event at the White House shows Biden standing frozen while others danced around him.

These incidents raise serious concerns about Biden’s ability to be reelected and, what’s more, lead. The early scheduling of the first presidential debate on June 27 before the Democratic Convention is unprecedented. This timing suggests that the Democratic Party is aware of Biden’s incoherence without the aid of teleprompters and notes, as well as his apparent need for assistance to get on and off stage, rejoin groups and avoid standing like a corpse.

By exposing his condition early, they can nominate another candidate at the convention, like Newsom or Hillary. However, if Biden is deemed incompetent to run for reelection, how is he competent to continue to serve as president?

The American people deserve clarity and transparency regarding the health and capabilities of their leaders. The role of the president is too crucial to be filled by someone mentally unfit to handle the pressures and responsibilities.

We must critically examine these actions and demand accountability from our political parties. The stakes are too high to allow political maneuvering to overshadow the need for capable and coherent leadership.

I look forward to watching the first (and possibly only) presidential debate of 2024 and hope it provides the clarity the American people need to make the right decision.
