Rainstorm continues over Carolinas
A tropical rainstorm is continuing to move northwest over the Carolinas after moving onshore Monday afternoon. Rainfall that can lead to localized flooding will extend northward across portions of
the mid-Atlantic and central Appalachians through Tuesday night. Due to previous impacts from flooding rainfall and gusty winds, the rainstorm is a 1 on the AccuWeather RealImpact

Tropical Depression Gordon will continue north over the coming days as it tracks across the central Atlantic. No direct impacts to land are expected from this storm.
An area encompassing much of the eastern Caribbean and western Gulf of Mexico is being monitored for a low chance of tropical development from Sept. 22-27.
